This page only works inside the dormitory network

You opened a link that only works from a connection inside StudNet. From anywhere else it stays blocked.

Some services are available to residents of the dormitories only. The server therefore checks which network you are coming from and lets through addresses from StudNet and the University of Bonn only.

What usually helps

  1. Turn off your VPN

    A VPN routes your traffic through someone else's server. To us it looks as if you were coming from there, not from your room. Disconnect the VPN and reload the page.

  2. Do not use mobile data

    On a phone, Wi-Fi often drops out as soon as the signal gets weaker. Turn mobile data off so that only the dormitory Wi-Fi is used.

  3. Be in the dormitory

    It will not work from your parents' place, the library or a café. Open the link again once you are back in your room.
