Dormitories
All dormitories on the StudNet and how they are connected.
The StudNet connects the student dormitories of Studierendenwerk Bonn over around 60 km of its own fibre-optic cable. Every room is on a 1 GBit internal network. Each dormitory has one or more 1 GBit or 10 GBit backbone connections. The university of applied sciences dormitory in St. Augustin is connected to the university of applied sciences via GBit and reaches the StudNet in Bonn through a VPN tunnel.
