Privacy policy

Data protection

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it confidentially, in accordance with statutory data protection law and this policy.

You can use this website without providing any personal data. There are no forms and no login on this site. If you contact us by email, you do so voluntarily; that data is not passed on to third parties without your express consent.

Please note that data transmission over the internet — email in particular — can have security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

No cookies, no external services

This website sets no cookies. There is no analysis of user behaviour, and no tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media components are embedded.

All resources — fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts — are served from our own server. No connections to third-party servers are made when you open these pages.

Local storage in your browser

Two settings are stored exclusively in your browser (localStorage) and are never transmitted to our server:

  • your choice between the light and dark colour scheme
  • the Wi-Fi router model you selected, so that the instructions match your device

You can delete both at any time by clearing the site data for this domain in your browser.

Server log files

The web server automatically collects and stores information your browser transmits:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system
  • referrer URL
  • hostname or IP address of the requesting machine
  • time of the server request

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically correct and secure operation of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to review it retrospectively if we become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use.

Encryption

This site uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar starting with https://.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you, to its correction, deletion or restriction of processing, a right to object to processing, and a right to data portability. Please write to the address given in the imprint.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Objection to advertising emails

We object to using the imprint contact details for unsolicited advertising. The operators of these pages reserve the right to take legal action if advertising is sent without request.
